Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi 

On this day, our company representative  will be at Kigali international Airport to pick you from the airport and then transfer to katuna border passing through Kigali city. The distance to cover is 85km which is 2hours drive. Do the clearance and then drive to Cepha’s Inn hotel for lunch and then continue the journey to Bwindi passing through Kabale-Ntungamo road that connects you to Rukungiri and kihihi and later to Bwindi Impenetrable National park at Silverback or Mohagony springs Lodge. The journey takes you through the communities of the Bakiga people the natives of the south western Ugandan. Arrival at Silverback  lodge for dinner and overnight. The journey covers a total of 330km on good tarmac road that takes 5½hours drive.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking experience 

After morning breakfast, you will get ready, along with your packed lunches and water to embark on the lifetime memorable gorilla tracking experience in the magnificent forest. Before the tracking experience starts, clients will be driven 10-20 minutes to the starting point passing through scenic and beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape, an area referred as the “Switzerland of Africa”. Observe the systematic cultivation of the Bakiga along the mountain slopes and enjoy the experience of what has been referred to as the Switzerland of Africa because of its cool nature. Enjoy the breathing at allocation to various gorilla groups and then start to embark on the gorilla tracking experience.  The trail you use may reward you with exciting moments of watching other primates before seeing the giant mountain gorillas, and later be a reward of the ultimate gorilla experience, as well as other primates that inhabit the forest. Enjoy your 1 hour time with the gorillas and then walk back to the starting point and be awarded with tracking certificates.  After tracking, then drive back to your hotel for hot lunch and an overnight 

Day 3: Return to Kigali international Airport.

After early morning breakfast, you will start your 5½hours journey back to Kigali international Airport. If time gets well, on reaching Kigali, you will visit the Kigali memorial genocide and continue to the airport for your flight back home
