Overview

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport-Hotel

You will arrive at the airport, picked and transferred to the hotel ( Sports view Hotel-Kireka) which you have been booked by Weismann Safaris & Expeditions-Uganda where you will be briefed by our tour guide and share any other related issues to the trip then dinner and then an overnight

 

Day 2: From Kampala – Masindi/Murchison

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison falls national Park. The biggest and largest national park in Uganda. Known as the most powerful waterfall. You will have en-route lunch in masindi and either spend an overnight in Masindi or continue to the park gate. During this drive, you may see birds and animals like raptors, Rock Pratincole, Crested Francolin, White crested Turaco, White-headed Barbet, Narina Trogon, Red-throated Bee-eater, Rufous-sided Broadbill, Silverbird, Red-cheeked Cordon blue, waxbills, finches, sunbirds and canaries, water bucks, oribis, warthogs among others. Upon arrival, you will have Dinner and  peaceful overnight in Murchison falls national park.

 

Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon launch cruise to the Bottom of the falls.

On this day, take pleasure in a morning game drive towards the Albert and Victoria Nile and experience a great deal of wildlife and birds. Along the way, look out for herds of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, the Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, and several bird species.  Later on in the day after lunch, embark on a launch cruise to the base of the falls.  This 3 hour cruise

from Paraa is a rewarding trip that will expose you to many various wildlife species like hippos, crocodiles, elephants (though quite occasional along this side) and a variety of the bird life that may include the African fish eagles.

You will then proceed to Masindi town for wonderful dinner and peaceful overnight.

 

Day 4: Masindi to Kasese.

After morning healthy breakfast, prepare for the journey Kasese for Queen Elizabeth National park game drive connecting through Masindi-Hoima-Kagadi-Kyenjojo road where you will pass through local communities with plantations of a variety of plants. You will enjoy warm lunch along the way that is in Fortportal. After lunch, continue to Kasese and to your hotel for an overnight 

 

Day 5: Game viewing drive and afternoon boat cruise in Queen game park.

On this day, you will have an early breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National park to acquire the park access card.  You shall enjoy a game drive towards the Kasenyi plains which may reward you with sightings of the various animals like huge herds of the Ugandan kob, elephants, leopard, lion, buffalos, warthogs and antelope etc  or in the south western part of the park that is Ishasha to spot climbing lions. Later after lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. This is very rewarding with the aquatic animals like crocodiles, hippos and many bird species like black bee carmine eaters and black bee eaters, Lesser Swamp-Warbler, Striated Heron, Egrets etc. After the boat cruise, drive back to your hotel in Kasese town (Springs International Hotel-Kasese) for an overnight.

 

Day 6: Return back to Kampala.

In the morning, take breakfast and drive to Kampala either through Kasese-Fortportal road (372km) or Mbarara-Masaka road (422km) to reach Kampala /Entebbe for a flight back home. You will enjoy warm lunch along the way, and dinner at the hotel in Kampala.
